Lights of America Introduces New Commercial Division
Lights of America announced its new marketing arm as
American Commercial Lighting (ACL).
Placentia, CA: (July 13, 2002)
ACL, based out of Placentia, California, has hired industry veteran
Jim Coleman as its new VP of Marketing and Sales. ACL will be working closely with existing Lights of America's
distribution channels as well as establishing new ones. "ACL has the unfulfilled potential to be one of the
largest suppliers of compact fluorescent lights and fixtures to the commercial/industrial marketplace," Jim Coleman stated.
Lights of America has over 25 years experience in manufacturing products within the U.S. They use new technologies
with a focus on value engineering. Lights of America's factory is a fully integrated manufacturing company. The factory
includes lamp manufacturing, electronics, and ballast production, metal fabrication, and stamping, plastic injection molding
and extrusion and finishing including powder coating. With over 1,200 employees at its state of the art 600,000 square
foot manufacturing facility in Walnut, California, Lights of America is the only U.S. based manufacturer of CFLs in the industry.
Lights of America's production capacity can make over a million twister lamps in a month. Domestic manufacturing means
that the commercial/industrial market can expect quality products and faster deliveries. Manufacturing efficiencies
promise competitive prices at part with foreign competitors. ACL markets a full line of energy efficient bulbs and fixtures,
including decorative ceiling fixtures, torchieres, area security lights, electronic work lights, undercabinet and shop lights.
